LGBTQIA+ Advocacy
Unfinished community holds firm in our affirmation, inclusion, and celebration of the God-given diversity in human sexuality, gender, and self-expression. A long history of narrow readings, cherry-picking verses to weaponize, and un-Christian (and unethical) wielding of political power have done incalculable damage to our LGBTQIA+ siblings.

Unfinished Community is an online, international church,, many members of our community are English-speakers based in Japan. That isn't always an easy place to be, so we've put together some resources to help with learning Japanese, and finding your way through life in a country that can often be very confusing.

Economic Justice
In many countries, including America and Japan, injustice and poverty go hand-in-hand. Fighting poverty is fighting injustice and, if you're new to the struggle, this is a good place to start figuring out how to get in the fight!

Mental Health Resources
There is absolutely nothing wrong with needing a little help. Here at Unfinished Community, we're big believers in the wellness of the body, wellness of the spirit, and wellness of the heart and mind too. And in order to reach that place of mental health, sometimes the best thing you can do is talk to an expert and, while pastors can be good at triaging, sometimes you need a real professional.
