WHAT IS DISCORD, ANYWAYS?

Discord is a free application whose sole purpose is to create an online space where communities can form, interact, and converse. Originally, it was a communication service used mostly by people in various video-game communities. Over time, it started to be used by various fandoms and interest groups, and has quickly become a very versatile tool for nearly every small to mid-range community online. It's also where most of our own community interaction and fellowship happens!

Using Discord is simple. All you need to do is go to the website (on any computer), or download the app (on your phone, or on your Mac computer via the App store). Once there, you can use the link on our homepage (or facebook, or sent to you through email; we're not very picky about sending it out!) to access the Discord server for our specific community. There you'll find a number of different "threads" where you can join the conversation on a variety of topics, as well as a few rooms set up for voice, video, and screen sharing (these are where we hold our various meet-ups, classes, and things like that).

If you're not sure how to get started, or need any help getting connected, just use the button below to email Pastor Don, and he'll make sure you get in.

We hope to see you soon!
