Church in a Different way
Have you found it more difficult to connect with church since the pandemic? Or maybe you've always had difficulty figuring how to connect your faith with the church communities around you. Here in the"Unfinished" community, we believe in taking the journey of faith together, in ways that are easier to manage amidst the craziness of our lives.
24/7 Fellowship
Our community isn't just a bunch of people who happen to be from the same town; our community is made up of people all around the world. While our church does have a physical location, most of our community fellowship happens when we come together as a community on our Discord server, discussing our faith journeys whenever we can, in a variety of different ways. This means that you can participate in the life of the community at any time, day or night, from the comfort of your computer, phone, or whatever. And, because we're an intentionally online-focused community, we're open to absolutely anyone, even if you're involved in a local community somewhere else. Everyone is welcome here!
Many Ways to Worship!
With members all over the world, we have a lot of different ways to worship. We have our twice-monthly worship service held at Ashiya Christian Church, where our community here in Japan comes together in dialogue to learn about God's word. We also have multiple ways of engaging in worship and study on our Discord server (including running conversations about faith, life, and just about anything else), and regular times of teaching and discussion shared through our podcast stream and YouTube channel. However you need to connect with God in your life, we can find a way to help!
A Little Help with Life
Want to practice speaking English or Japanese? Do you have a bunch of extra food to share with people near you? Do you just have some spare time, and want to share that with lonely folks? Do you just want to share some good news with people, or introduce someone to a hobby you have? Through our community, you can find ways to explore practical help and connection with people around the world!
